Accessibility & Website Information

Travel information is only useful if people can read it. This page sets out how we approach accessibility on voyagersystemsinc.com and how to tell us when we have got something wrong.

Last updated: 1 March 2026

1. Our commitment

Voyager Systems Inc LLC aims to make this website usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or browsing with reduced motion or high contrast settings enabled.

We treat accessibility as part of building the site rather than as a later correction.

2. Standard we work to

We aim to conform substantially to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA. Conformance is an ongoing effort rather than a fixed state, and new content is checked against the same standard.

3. Measures taken

  • Semantic HTML structure with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
  • Descriptive alternative text on photographs that carry meaning.
  • Colour contrast checked against AA thresholds for body text and interface elements.
  • Full keyboard operability, including visible focus states on links, buttons and form fields.
  • Form fields with associated visible labels rather than placeholder only labelling.
  • Text that reflows and remains readable at 200 per cent zoom and on small screens.
  • Descriptive link text rather than repeated generic phrases.

4. Known limitations

Some photographs are decorative and carry no alternative text by design, which is the correct behaviour for assistive technology. Content hosted or embedded from third parties may not meet the same standard, and we have limited control over it. Long guides are text heavy by nature, and while they are structured with headings, some readers may find them dense.

5. Compatibility

The site is tested with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge on desktop and mobile. It is intended to work with common screen readers, including VoiceOver and NVDA. Older browsers may render the site with reduced visual styling but the content should remain accessible.

6. Reporting a barrier

If you encounter something you cannot access, please tell us through the contact page. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days and to fix confirmed issues promptly.

If you need information from a specific guide in an alternative format, ask and we will provide it.

7. Technical information about this website

The site is a server rendered application built with standard web technologies. It does not require JavaScript to read the main text content of a guide, it does not use auto playing media, and it respects the operating system preference for reduced motion.

8. Content accuracy and review

Guides are reviewed periodically. Each guide shows the month it was last updated. Because travel information changes without notice, we ask readers to verify time sensitive details, particularly entry requirements and transport schedules, with the official source before travelling.
